• Engineered Locking System- Most carriers leave securing your wheel as an afterthought—not this one. Our Wheel Locking Disk uses an internal locking mechanism to keep your wheel firmly in place and deter theft. Just slide on the rubber centering cone, align, thread the disk, and lock it into place—click click click—you’ll hear it engage and know your tire is secure. When you need your spare, just insert the key, unlock, and unthread. It’s as simple as it is secure.
• Dual Lower Support Arms = Less Struggle, More Support- Spare tires are heavy—so why wrestle with lifting and lining up a single bolt? Our dual lower arms hold the weight while you align the wheel. This design transfers the load into the main hinge points on the ladder system, reducing strain on your van’s rear door.
• Strong Where It Matters, Light Where It Counts- The center support arm is made of high-strength aluminum—robust enough for trail use, lightweight enough to avoid sag or bounce. It ties directly into the ladder’s main frame weldment and is braced with a rear back plate for rock-solid mounting.
