The Sprinter Rear Ladder System – Base Kit is the foundation for endless customization. Whether you’re mounting the Unaka Tire Carrier now or adding spare boxes or traction boards later, this rear ladder system is built for flexibility. Start with the base and evolve it as your needs change—no need to replace your setup every time your adventure shifts gears.

  • Front-Side Installation – The integrated MOLLE panel design allows you to install gear from the front using our Unaka MOLLE nuts (coming soon) or 3/8" carriage bolts from your local hardware store—no need to reach behind or remove existing gear.

  • Passenger-Side Friendly – This system maintains access to your door handle while maximizing MOLLE panel space. No more unusable space.
  • Protected & Thoughtful Design – Features an integrated dampening system to reduce shock and protect your van’s door. Also includes a step drill bit for an easier, cleaner install. We also made sure to tab our hinges to prevent the side of your van being hit with gear attached to the system, (this will reduce the door opening to less than 180 degrees)
  • Reduced Obstruction, Thoughtful Fit – Designed to minimize interference with taillights, avoid triggering backup sensors, and ensure your license plate stays visible.

INSTALLATION

Rear Ladder System Base Kit - Install - Sprinter Driver Side

Important: Must be installed onto 180° hinges. 180° rear-door hinges are required for installation. Once the Rear Ladder System is installed, the door will no longer open a full 180°. Do not force it open, as mounted gear may contact and damage the van body or taillights. Purchase 180° Hinge Kit here.
