Very nice awning, shipping container protected it during shipping perfectly, and is certainly value added for my Winnebago Solis. Mounted the awning on an Orion stealth rack using the application specific mounting brackets from Orion.

Works well
Store owner replied: Hey Shaun, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Glad to hear the awning is working well for you. If there's anything we could have done to make your experience a 5-star one, we'd love to hear your feedback. Feel free to reach out anytime. — Eric
Easy to use, but watch the weather! Get it put away if heavy rain or high winds.
Store owner replied: Hey Jeff, Thanks for the review! Glad to hear you're enjoying the awning. That's also great advice—awnings provide fantastic shade and shelter, but it's always best to retract them before heavy rain or strong winds roll in. Customers often underestimate the power of even lite winds, let alone heavy. Thanks again for choosing Unaka Gear Co. — Eric
Works great!
The Fiamma awning is a real game changer. It creates an additional outdoor room for relaxing and enjoying a nice breeze, and being able to shade the side of the van from direct sunlight keeps the interior of the van cooler, reducing the energy consumption of our air conditioner. Love it!
Your shop did a quick job of removing the careless awing and installing my wonderful F45. Thank you.
Love my new awning. Easy to install and deploy. Can’t wait to use it in a real world camping experience.
We LOVE Unaka. They are light weight, durable, and look awesome. The awning mount brackets are perfect. This is the best and easiest DIY mount I have worked with.
Store owner replied: Love this! Always a pleasure working with you.
Looks and works great.
Pickup at Unaka was excellent. Super friendly staff helped load the box on my SUv rack. Fitted the awning in a few hours thanks to custom brackets.
Felt like I got a very good price from Unaka in Spartanburg. I had made my roof rack so had to make some special brackets to extend it out from under the solar panels. Guys at Unaka Gear were very helpful.
A great addition to my van adventures
We took the trip down to Spartanburg where Brad, Matt, and the rest of the Unaka crew installed the F45 for us at the shop. Weve only had it a week but so far so good. Unaka also installed one of their racks on our Promaster 159 last fall. Nothing but high praise for Unaka and the whole staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful and their products are quality!
Inaka Gear Co provided excellent service throughout the process of purchasing the rack to the installation of the Fiamma awning. Specifically I will call out Matt for his assistance. The rack is well thought out and provides a very strong and stable base for the Fiamma as well as two solar panels.
No fault of Unaka, but we first received a Polar (white) awning and ordered a black one. Packing list even said black. Fiamma issue, did finally receive correct one after repacking and printing a return label for wrong one. I'm not a whiner, but because of this inconvenience, it would have been nice if Unaka would have volunteered some kind of compensation for this hassle. After all that, awning is on and ready to be enjoyed. Deploys and retracts beautifully. But be sure to check where front end of awning is with respect to side door. On a Transit with a FVC roof rack, it doesn't cover entire opening.
Store owner replied: Jim, we totally understand what a hassle that is, and we're genuinely sorry it happened. As a token of our apology, we'd like to offer you a discount on your next order. Please give us a call the next time you're shopping for new equipment, and we'll make sure to take care of you to make up for the Fiamma issue. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
My rv repairman installed my new Fiamma awning which was an exact replacement of the original awning. Perfect purchase from Unaka and local installation on my camper worked out great.
We had a Fiama Canopy added to our Ram Promaster Van. They included necessary hardware and added a new crossbar. All was completed promptly at their facility. Great to work with. By having them install at their site it saved us shipping costs and they installed for free.
So, My Awning was damaged in Shipping, I called Unaka, They took care of everything, got a new awning in a few days. GREAT customer service. And everything fit perfect. Great product (the bracket set) easy installation. 5 stars
Store owner replied: Hey Scott, It's wonderful to hear that even when an issue with shipping arose for your Fiamma F45s Awnings, our team at Unaka Gear Co. was able to resolve it swiftly and to your complete satisfaction. We're especially pleased that you found our customer service great and that the bracket set fit perfectly, making installation easy. We recently purchased the Fiamma awning to attach to our Unaka Gear Co. Premium rack (V1) and the experience was superb. At the time of the order we asked Unaka Gear Co. to push back the delivery date as we were out-of-town to accept receipt of such a large item. They gladly did so and the awning arrived as expected and on-time. The awning is a must-have in my opinion. We use it for the expected but also while working on the Sprinter providing us shade and comfort. Unaka's price is also competitive and their Southern East-Coast personalities make working with them an absolute pleasure. Thank you Unaka Gear Co.!
Store owner replied: Hey Phil, Thanks for the kind words. We're glad we could accommodate your delivery timing and help make sure the awning arrived when it worked best for you. It's always great hearing how customers are using their awnings beyond camping trips, and we couldn't agree more about the value of having some shade while working on a van project. Thanks again for the support. — Eric
Super high quality, easy to install and easy to put up! We LOVE it! One person can open and close the awning which is great!
Very easy install using the Unaka adapters on my Transit high roof 148.
Store owner replied: Thanks Jack glad to hear it went smoothly
Awesome customer service and the awning looks great.
Great service. Needed help on delivery dates and they were very responsive!
Another great piece to the puzzle. Enjoying the process of building my sprinter van.
Works great!
Wish I had taken a picture before closing up. This is fantastic. Very well built. I highly recommend!!
Awning is great, but right leg keep s popping out as I set it up. Resulting in me having to fix it most of the time
Store owner replied: Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your awning—it definitely shouldn't be acting up like that. Could you send a quick video of the issue to csr@unakagearco.com? That way, we can take a look and get this sorted out for you. Thanks!
So far so good with the Fiamma awning. Provides shade when needed for sure. It does seem a little delicate but anchoring the legs goes a long way for sturdiness. We like it. Thanks to the Unaka crew for mounting it up for us!
Not only the lowest priced F45S but they also chose the best freight forwarding company that worked with my request to deliver it sooner than scheduled. 10/10 service and communication
Wish the main mounting bolts were a little shorter, as I had to go buy new ones. Also wish they supplied all five of the smaller bolts, since the aluminum brackets come with 5 predrilled holes but only 3 bolts. I would, however highly recommend the awning.
