Introducing the Diode Dynamics Stage Series SS5 CrossLink Lightbar. Using patent-pending CrossLink technology, this kit connects eight SS5 LED Pods into one rigid, adjustable lightbar. It combines powerful output, custom-engineered TIR optics, selectable backlighting, and durable construction for demanding on-road and off-road applications.

Focused Output
Traditional reflectors and basic lenses can lose light internally or scatter it as glare. The SS5 uses a custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optic to collect light directly from the LEDs and direct it where it is needed. The optic also serves as the main outer lens, reducing light loss and improving efficiency, focus, and usable output.

Selectable Backlight
The SS5 pods in this kit feature selectable backlighting with eight color options, adding visibility or a distinctive styling accent when the main beam is not in use. Changing colors is simple—cycle the backlight power on and off to move through the available choices. No separate controller or complicated programming is required.

The backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic for a unique appearance. Due to its yellow lens, the Yellow CrossLink kit is available only with an Amber backlight.

CrossLink Technology
Diode Dynamics’ CrossLink system connects up to eight SS5 pods using single-piece CNC-machined aluminum links. The links provide excellent rigidity while remaining adjustable, allowing the lightbar to be configured in a straight or curved shape. Integrated threaded mounting points mean every SS5 is CrossLink-ready without requiring a special pod version.

Purpose-Built Beam Patterns
Stage Series beam patterns are developed through advanced optical simulation to produce efficient, functional illumination.

• Driving: A focused 30x20-degree pattern designed for general illumination at speed. It provides enough width to illuminate the road ahead while limiting excessive foreground light. The SS5 Driving pattern is too bright to qualify as an SAE Auxiliary High Beam, but it delivers a substantial boost in long-range visibility.
• Combo: Combines Driving and Flood optics for versatile, all-around performance. A focused 30x20-degree center beam provides distance, while the surrounding output creates a full 70x30-degree pattern to illuminate a wider area.

White or Selective Yellow
The CrossLink kit is available in cool white or selective yellow. The 6000K white output closely matches most factory LED lighting, while the 3000K selective-yellow output increases contrast in poor weather and creates a distinctive appearance. Interchangeable replacement lenses allow you to change the beam pattern or output color later.

Sport or Pro Output
Choose the power level that fits your lighting needs. Both options use high-intensity LED emitters and precision TIR optics.

• Sport: Each pod uses nine high-intensity LEDs with 40 watts of total power.
• Pro: Each pod produces 90 watts for substantially increased output.

Simple Connections
Each SS5 pod features a custom-molded DT-style Deutsch connector. The kit includes DT splitters for connecting the pods together, along with a six-inch pigtail with bare leads. You can complete the installation using your own wiring, an appropriately sized Deutsch DT wiring harness, or an optional Diode Dynamics harness.

Optional Snap-On Covers
Snap-on covers are available for added protection, styling, or compliance in states that require auxiliary lights to be covered. Multiple color options protect the lenses from dirt, dust, and trail debris when the lightbar is not in use.

Proven Reliability
Stage Series lighting is tested for long-term operation from -40°F to 185°F, along with vibration, moisture-intrusion, and corrosion testing performed to SAE standards. The SS5 CrossLink Lightbar is built to withstand demanding road, trail, and weather conditions.
