Whether you are heading out for a 50 mile gravel ride, an epic enduro ride, or to send it big at your favorite down hill course the Unaka Thru Axle Fork Mount will help get you and your bikes out on the trails faster.

First and foremost, the Unaka Thru Axle Fork Mount is compatible with 12mm, 15mm, and 20mm diameter axles so one fork mount gets you and any of your bikes with a standard axle size to the trail!  Our mount provides our customers a fast, easy to use, super low profile way to securely store your bike using its thru axle.  Our fork mount is the lowest profile mount we have found on the market with an axle centerline of 0.68" from its base.  This allows you to transport or store your bike in less vertical space.  This is so low that we we also include 6061 black anodized aluminum 1/4" and 1/2" thick base spacers incase our mount is so low you have to raise it up a touch for your bike.  We know that the room under your converted van bed or inside your truck camper shell is valuable space and you shouldn’t have to sacrifice any of it.  The clamp over design allows you to put your thru axle back in the fork before stowing your bike.  This means no more leaning over into cramped space trying to align and thread your axle back in only to have to do it all over again when you get to the trail head, again when you are done riding, and then again when you get back home.  Life is too short and your bike is too nice to have to deal with your old fork mounts.

Our sleek robust design is manufactured out of high quality 6061 aluminum using the latest CNC machining technology. The Anodized finish not only increases the overall durability but also adds additional corrosion resistance while providing you with a truly stylish look that all of your friends will definitely notice.  Our design is compatible with the main thru axles sizes: 12mm, 15mm, and 20mm diameters.  To switch from one to the other just remove one set of our injection molded nylon inserts and reinsert the next.  Note the 20mm diameter axle setting requires no inserts.  It is not required but since there is no insert for the 20mm axles, some of our customers that have this axle size choose to add some strips of 3M tape to the surface to provide a physical barrier between the shaft and the fork mount.

Extra Spacers:  Some mountain bike / fork combinations actually require more than clearance than the single spacer set provided will raise your axle up to and you may need additional spacers.  The spacers provided will raise your thru axle center line up to 1-7/16" from your mounting surface.  Click here to check our extra spacer kit sets!

Suggested Hardware:  The base of each mount includes 3 countersunk mounting holes sized for #10 flat head bolts or screws.  These mounting holes are located underneath the nylon axle inserts.  See the installation manual for full installation and mounting details.
