Awning Extension Bracket (Set of 3)

If you have a narrower rack, you are using our 56.75" wide cross bars, or you just want extra flexibility to get your awning to your idea position add a set of our extension brackets to your order.  This slotted bracket allow you to position your awning roughly 2" further out than the standard bracket.  This is not always required but can be useful for narrower racks with some awnings in order to access the manual crank location from underneath.

These custom brackets are laser cut out of 1/4" thick A36 Steel and then powder coated black for durability and corrosion resistance.  Each bracket comes with the hardware required to bolt this bracket to your awning bracket.

We highly recommend using a set of these brackets with your awnings if you are using our 56.75" wide cross bars which put the centers of your side rails spaced 58.25" apart.

Installation Notes:

1. We recommend adding some Blue 242 Loctite to the threads of your bolts when you do the final installation.  Even though we do not expect any, we recommend that you periodically check the hardware to ensure that nothing has loosened over time.
